After years of being broke, I always have the mentality that if I can make money for it, I'd rather sell it than give it away. I have a box of baby clothes and my church runs a food pantry and a closing closet. They are asking for donations of baby items but the minute I brought out the box I realized that they are perfect for consigning and I could probably make $30 dollars off of them which ...

I just been successful in claiming £2744 refund for PPI., I thought I would treat myself, I spent more than I had intended to spend and now I’m feeling extremely guilty. I don’t squander money away on clothes very often, it’s actually the first that I’ve bought myself this year. I did get generous saving’s within my purchases as it was a 3 for 2 deal online with very.co.uk ...

OK so I realized yesterday that I accidentally pulled the groceries last payday out of the savings account....So I now have to fix it and replenish the money...But that means that DS christmas will be really cheap and not much at all...2-3 presents...And while he's 2 and a half and doesn't realize I do..I realize that this is the 3rd christmas we can't do a whole lot for him.....I would say...

Hi, I tx'd in Feb 2009 for severe CHD. After 4 months of TTC I got my BFP and ~ 8 weeks along. I have my 1st Ob/Gyn appt next week. I just needed to post & vent today... When we got the diagnosis & decided to tx we only told a few close friends about what was going on. 1 friend which I actually work with. After the tx I felt so alone. They seemed to just ignore what happened- I guess ...

Is anyone else having this issue? My husband's cousins (there's 3 of them) are like brothers to him, as his mom raised them as well as my DH together. Well all 3 of their wives plus myself were pregnant back in 2005 together. We all have 4 yr olds that were born within months of each other. One of the couples had to go through IVF to get pregnant after years of trying but it finally worked. ...

So DH doesn't make a lot of money and I'm a SAHM to my 7wk old and a 14 month old. These past few weeks have been very difficult for me. I've been talking to my CNM about PP anxiety, and I always feel upset and depressed. I don't have family or friends near by and I feel trapped and isolated. The other day I decided to get a gym membership to have a place to just get away. I talked about it...

It has been insanely slow at my club lately, to the point where girls are getting fired left and right for not making house, and where many are in tears at the end of the night. I compensate by working harder, spending more time in the gym, and really just doing my best to bring the best me I can to the floor. As I result I'm still paying my bills and getting close to my goals. I also am lucky ...

( Its natural to want to protect them - they are your kids. And because they are your kids you can do what ever you and your husband want. My kids were older - 13 and 16 and I did tell them. My oldest, especially, doesnt deal well with the fear of the unknown so it was better to get it out there then to have her wonder. My \(now\) 14 year old said to me just this weekend- it wasnt so ...

( Your original post said this- "My 9 year old did ask and I told him No I don't have cancer and I am doing treatment to make sure I don't get cancer. He also knows his grandma and dad had cancer and both are fine. Welll my 9 year old said to me that his friend asked him if I had cancer. He told him the above. Apprently his friend noticed I had on a wig." This is completely different to ...

Ok, so I indulged on Thanksgiving. We hosted it here, which meant TONS of leftovers, and I've been eating (though not overeating) them ever since. Tonight it suddenly dawned on me that I have a doctors appointment Tuesday and the dreaded scale will be waiting for me first thing... I stepped on the scale and I'm up 4 lbs. Ok, I probably wouldn't be too upset about it, but I've already gained 30 ...

Quote (Phillies @ Dec 1 2009 08:57pm) Well, first I thought, "What a fucking dick". But then the next thought in my head was, "Wow, I would do the same exact thing to my friend if they were in that position". Then I thought, "Wow, my friends would do the same exact thing to me in that position". Therefore, it's completely alright. Lol, my guilt is now turning to anxiety, this guy is ...

( you can definitely overeat with the band especially in the beginning while you have limited restriction. the band is NOT like the bypass where, in the beginning, you will lose weight no matter what. choose carefully - the band requires a lot of committment. ,)
As someone who's been through infertility and miscarriage I just wanted to say that's it's really wonderful that you are being considerate of your friend's feelings. It can be so painful to learn of others' pregnancies when your in the midst of desperately wanting a baby of your own but it's also really lonely so I think you should talk to her. The best thing you can do in my opinion is to let ...

I have thought this many times, that I could be charity. I should have my own number and be registered!! I'm just kidding of course. There are lots of charities out there that require your time instead of you money. I want to put together Christmas hampers this year and get my kids involved so they do something for the less fortunate. These tasks are just as important as giving monitarily.
