I caught something fleetingly in the news the other day about someone being charged with possession of unregistered firearms and the mention of it being a federal law and not a local reg Chicago or Washington D.C. Can anyone speak authoritatively about this ? I have a couple of old heirlooms and gifts of old guns and I never thought I was in violation.

Does anyone know exactly what the federal law for pumping at work is? I am going back to work in January, and I feel like my work is not being very accomodating. Recently they've cut our pay by 10% and cut back our hours to 32. Before I left on maternity leave (un-paid, btw!) I made it very clear that when I came back I would need to pump every 3 hours during the workday. I recently sent an ...

I've seen a lot of ladies talk about they don't know whether their kids should be in booster seats. We have a law that says your kids have to be in booster seats until they're 8 years old. I think it's stupid, it should be based on height and/or weight, because I've seen some BIG 8 year olds! Anyhow, does your state not have a law like this? Do you think it should? And if it doesn't, what is ...

We ended up going to court, I was allowed to take my son to a different state because it was for my husbands job. My sons father gets to have our son for 2 summer months. Tell your ex that you are taking your daughter and I guess see what his next move is. I would suggest ...

Well if Canada entered a North American Union and got all Orwellian micro chipping left and right I guess I'd head to Australia then. Australia and the European Union will probably implement this system long before the U.S.... I'm not Sid Napalm Enema - "And you never will be Sid!"

WOW! Ain't no such thing as a simple question. Here in WA State used to be, record of handguns transactions through licensed dealers went to the DOL. That's about as close to State registration ever seen here. But it's nothing the buyer had to address, update or mess with in any way. Federally: no full auto or destructive devices like described in the NFA(National Firearms Act) no such thing as ...
