Hi all , I just bought myself an 02 Fazer thou - and what bike it is - very pleased. Only problem I have is the very heavy clutch. It is a real pain in traffic. Is the heavy clutch normal for the Fazer Thou? I've had Fazer 600 and an FJR before the clutch felt like feather compare to that! I adjusted the lever so it is a bit closer to the bars and tried oiling both ends but not much ...

Hello all, I'm migrating from many years on off-road style bikes to a lovely low mileage 2000 FZS 600 Fazer and would like to change the handlebars to bring the riding position to something i'm more used to and take some of the weight off my knackered wrists... I don't want to Streetfighter it - I want to keep the fairing intact / in place for a little protection - so does this limit me to...

One of the reasons for buying a FZ6 was the sound of the engine. I like the very quiet sound. However, that impression is disturbed by the very noisy sound from the right side of the engine when I am riding at about 60km/hour and upwards. When I ride and pull the clutch, or turn back the throttle, it is very noisy. Sounds like a singing truck wheel. The chain and the sprockets have been ...

OK, I was rear ended last week 8 hours after collecting my Fazer from the dealer. Bike was T reg in mint condition with 20k miles. I paid £1999 (according to autotrader about bang on for a dealer bike in this condition) and have been informed it's a write off (just awaiting assessors signoff). My question is, give that 3rd party insurers have accepted full liability in writing, I am ...

This month's Ride has a big "360 degree" test (over several pages) of the Monster 1100S, as originally mentioned here: http://ukmonster.co.uk/monster/showt...light=s2r+r ide 1100S vs S2R, vs Fazer 1000 and comparisons with other stuff too. Hyper 796 reviewed too, and Multistrada mentioned in the "used bargains" bit as well.

Chaps (and chapesses) On my Gen 2 Fazer 1000 the stupid LED fuel reserve light starts flashing after about 120 miles or so - until now I have stopped and filled up straight away. Today however I thought I would be brave and keep riding. After 15 miles my nerve broke and I filled up with 13 litres of Tescos finest unleaded. 13 litres!!! this means I still had 5 litres left which in old money ...

The Zx6r I just got has a pair of 700 mile old BT021's on it and they are horrible. I hated the ones on my fazer! The front seems like it wants to turn in too far and I have to hold pressure on the bars in the opposite direction to the corner. They will do for the winter I guess but I hate them big time. Rear spins up easy too but this is probably due to more power and less weight.
