I know it's not Blu-ray Disc, but I saw the remastered edition at Walmart for only $24.83 plus taxes. That's quite a GOOD deal if you ask me considering the fact it's $46 everywhere else. I bought it since I love the series.

It always amazes people that only 12 episodes were ever made. I own it or I would be grabbing this. Cleese has perfect comic timing. Something that you hardly ever see in comedies any more.

I still get huge laughs out of it, and I think that most of the situations do hold up. Of course, the episode with the Germans might not make sense to kids growing up now who have no memory of WWII. Not that I have a memory of WWII, but that was my grandfather's generation, and I remember my mom talking about the German family they knew and the kids were kind of embarrassed to be heard speaking ...

Other than that, I got most of what I want, as there aren't many shows I'm that into, at least to the point of buying them. Homicide was a great show, btw.
