Just so you know, plantar fasciitis can be a pretty debilitating injury. If you want to know more about it and how to cure it, please visit http://plantarfasciitisinserts.com . My wife had it for a year, cured it by wearing the right shoes, exercising and stretching her foot, using foot massage (actually, that part was my job), and wearing a plantar fasciitis night splint. Then when the pain...

I have many of the symptoms of plantar fasciitis. Pain right after I wake up and after I run. I've had recurrent plantar fasciitis for the last 3 years now and usually it's been caused by heavy calf raises on a leg press machine but it seems to come around/just after winter, when I'm playing a lot of basketball. The difference this time is that my pain isn't under my foot: under my heel I'm ...

I had a brief bout of plantar fasciitis which is a foot injury and in lamen terms it is a pain in your heal that feels like a bruise and it hurts like hell when you put pressure on it. Now I had never ever had any foot problems throughout my playing career (university soccer player) all on grass fields. At the end of my university plaing days my senior year and into my most recent ...

Not sure if I read about these shoes here or not. I heard these shoes are great for those who suffer from heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, and bad back / knees. I bought some today and I can't believe how great these feel. Anyway, Kmart is having a BOGO shoe sale plus 15% off that as well. They are having the same sale online. Disclaimer: I do not work for KMart or Therashoe or anyone ...

man does it hurt! it feels like someone smacked the bottom of my heal with a ballpeen hammer. it started this hunting season, and i think my new muck boots are to blame. they're real comfy, but apparently they don't offer enough arch support for my feet. now that the season is over, i'm not wearing my boots and my foot feels a bit better. about a week ago, i picked up some insoles with arch...

I was just diagnosed with PF last week. The one thing that helps the most is stretching the foot out BEFORE getting out of bed in the morning. Per my Dr. direction she told me "I don't care how bad you gotta pee, stretch it out before your feet touch the floor". I also wear a brace at night and no longer walk around barefoot in the house. I really believe the morning stretches make the most ...

I have Plantar Fasciitis in both feet as well as Morton's Neuroma in both feet. I have had two seperate foot surgeries for the Neuromas this year, one in February and one in August, for removal of the nerve. I am still in much pain when walking, the bottom of my foot is burning along the ball area and my arch continually aches. I noticed the new rocker bottom shoes, especially the ...

for those who have used the medrol pack. It didn't seem to last this time. The first 3 days (highest doses) were good but then it went down hill. Tonight my feet hurt so bad, achilles and the plantar fasciitis. I can't hardly move, bend or walk. I probably done too much, I was trying to get the house cleaned up. I just wondered how long the steroids give relief normally. Also, for those on ...

Necrotizing Fasciitis Associated Cannibalistic Schizophreniform Disorder I'm running a game, and wanted to give the infection a name. If anyone has any prior medical or psychological training, and can make the name sound more clinically accurate, please feel free to do so. I'm a neophyte when it comes to associated neurological disorders and rapidly infectious diseases.

Well I`ve still got issues with the PF but the pain is a lot less now. I’m just using weight training, cross trainer and rowing machine at the moment. I will probably get back to Muay Thai in early Fed and then if that is all good go for a few little runs to see how things go.

~Highly mobile ankles (aka stretch out calves) IS a cure for plantar fasciitis.... ~along with strengthening the bottom of the foot with exercises, and increasing proprioceptive ability especially if you have flat feet. ~Stretching hamstrings, and strengthening glutes may also help AS WELL as postural work for weight distribution. ~frozen coke bottle rolling of the plantar fascia helps ...
