I don't get to double so the higher the $ the better for me. I can't used expired q's but I can use high quality color or B&W IP's. I shop at Hy-vee, Fareway and Walmart. THe bottles don't last through the day, but when I was in on Saturday there where 6 bottles on the shelf. THe bottle I have helped get through the blizzard, and if this ice sticks around might get me through today too.

Frugal shopping for healthy food has always been interesting and a goal of mine -- with me deciding to stay home with the birth of Lucas - it became a necessity. I agree with setting the monthly budget -- I also include a "cushion" so while I say my weekly grocery budget is $80 (me, dh, Joey 8 and a 3 month old) I also have $75/week for misc. including gas, toiletries or to be used as needed....

Just checked an NADA on the food part. There were some folks selling jars most were asking 65 cents to a dollar per jar. I can still get jars at my local WM and at my local Fareway right now a dozen for 6.99 (reg pints) which includes a new lid and ring. Kimberly

oh man, i've always thought the same thing about Iowa... I live in Des Moines and since I recently started couponing, i am disappointed there aren't any stores that will double/triple coupons around here!!! i think the best couponing store is Target. i grocery shop at wal-mart because it's so much cheaper than fareway and hy-vee.
