I have tried to remove my fan clutch on my M70 without success. Any suggestions that do not include destroying the water pump? I have removed several fan clutches on other BMW's, but this one is very tough and will not budge.

Hey... I just finished replacing my viscous fan clutch that had been damaged with a new one that I had ordered from Rockauto.com... It was considerably cheaper than the others, and I didn't want to sink a ton of money into the car since it's a salvaged title now! It's made by the brand Uro Parts. I had to replace the pully that it came with, with the one from the first, which wasn't a big ...

Hey guys, IÂ’m new here and just visiting. IÂ’m restoring by Â’66 Corvette and it had a Â’69 ford fan clutch on it. The clutch is marked 7 26 69. Casting number C7AE-A. ItÂ’s in good shape and was in working condition with no apparent play in the hub when removed. No broken fins (small casting flaw that lookÂ’s original). It will likely work as-is but it is always recommended to have them rebuilt...

I know this is somewhat of an odd request, but I decided to tackle some things this Turkey break and realized that my fan clutch nut is very stubborn. I'd order one, but I can't wait since I need my car running by the weekend. I'd make one, but several supply shops are closed for a 4 day weekend. If anyone has one or has solutions, I'd appreciate it!

FS: aftermarket fan clutch for the 2RZ 3RZ NIB I bought this clutch off eBay thinking it's what I needed, but my truck needed a thermostat. I believe it fits both four cylinders and the V6 from '96 on up. Asking 45.00 shipped the the 48 states.

Has anybody removed their Clutch fan on the 87-95 pathys durring winter time? Im trying to get my truck to warm up quicker in these 15*f days, and I think I can do without the clutch fan untill it warms up. Has anybody else ran with no fans durring very cold seasons?

My clutch fan blades have broken. Don't know why. I replaced it and 3 days later the replacement blades are making noise. As if it's loose. Checked it out and seems like the actual clutch fan is loose. Very tight area to squeeze into. Anyone have any good ideas or similar problems?

Alright... I checked to see if it was standard thread, but it wasn't... The guy at NAPA was looking at it and decided to run the screw in through the back, and it threaded in, so I ended up purchasing the appropriate tap, and cleaned the threads, starting from the back, and cleaned em up... Looks like they didn't run theirs deep enough at the factory... But the original screws ended up working...
