Good day everyone, I have had my FZ6 for a year now. I am thinking of buying the FZ1 , as I am already used to 100hp. But, I might as well then buy a car. That way I have a boot and roof, but then no power/speed and fun. I cannot make up my mind, the car I want is not that bad, but I am going to miss the thrill of bike riding. Ideally having a car and bike is best, but I am not able ...

FS/FT - VERY Nice FZ1 in Northern IL I can't believe I'm posting this - I am very happy with my garage, but I guess I need a change for change's sake. Chicago weather is prompting this... I have an '02 Silver FZ1 with about 22+k on the clock, lots of extras: 5 star luggage rack with built in hardware for Givi monokey ...

2007 YAMAHA FZ1 FAZER Fazer!!! With a name like that is has to be a bad bike! 7378 miles mean this thing is just broke in, and with the carbon fiber exhaust, frame sliders, and aftermarket front brake cables you are ready to go hit the twisties in the Hill Country or just cruise around town. The engine comes from its bigger brother the Yamaha R1 so you know its got plenty of power! If you...

So installed the FZ1 bars finally last night. Needed to test them So I did a 225 mile loop today. Left my place in Valencia around noon. Rode Topanga Cyn to Mullholland Hwy to Neptunes Net for lunch then up Hwy 33 to Lockwood Valley Rd. to Frazier Park then back home. I fogot how fun Lockwood Valley Rd is. The moon rise was amazing. Anyway I like the FZ1 bars. Makes the bike feel ...

I traded my XR650R for this bike last spring, but have discovered that this kind of bike is just not for me...it's too fast and I'm too stupid. $3500 or possibly trade for larger cruiser or another dual sport bike (KTM 525, LC4's, possibly DRZ). The FZ has ~24k miles on it and is in excellent condition. It comes with the tank bag and rear luggage shown in the pic, and also has a nice rear rack...

Anybody know what company makes a gold/red aftermarket shock? Saw it on an 07 FZ1 and there were no labels or marks of any kind from the manufacturer. It had an adjuster that was mounted to the frame. I know Ohlins likes blue/gold. Is this a signature color for another company perhaps? thanks

Most Yamaha fans thought it odd that no FZ6 was announced for 2010, leaving only the FZ1 and the n00b model FZ6R. Here is the reason, although so far we have zero credible information save for a picture of a headlight assembly. http://www.yamaha-motor-europe.com/fz8/ Rumors say that the new naked bike will have an 800cc motor made just for this application, and that's pretty much all we ...

Yep, my FZ is faster than your FZ. No, not because it's silver. But, because it's an FZ1 !!! That's right, got rid of the slow FZ6 and got a real FZ, a real bike, AN FZ1 . Loaded with extras and did I mention it's FAST ??? I like my silver color now as well as my ex-FZ6 in red, maybe even better, and believe me when I say it's FAST !!! Peace out, got to join the FAST forum. ...
