Is it hard to get from the terminal to the TRI Rail station at FLL? Need to take the train from FLL to MIA (where I have booked a rental), and I gues the train would be way cheaper than a cab. Now, what I don't know ,is how easy/complicated this might be....

I'm just wondering if it would be viable for AA to ever run a connector service between MIA - FLL . I know many people choose FLL over MIA for its conveince and ease. I know that once the North terminal is comopleted that MIA customer experience would greatly improve but still think there still might be a market. On November 4, AIRES Colombia filed with the DOT to begin 4x weekly flights between FLL and Cali. If approved, they plan to begin service in the first half of 2010. AIRES begins FLL - BOG on Nov. 25.

We are thinking of a Florida trip in the Spring but are not relishing the airfares to MCO, PBI, FLL, etc. from Newark. We have never taken the Auto Train, but I have been on the Northeast Corridor line a number of times, and the Acela once or twice. Since this is an overnight route, are the Coach seats comfortable for resting if you don't have a sleeper car? Is the trip pre-schooler friendly? ...

Apparently, Silver Shadow had a man overboard @ 20 miles off Miami while the ship was heading into FLL. He was recovered by the Coast Guard. Details are on CC.

Almost time for my desert tan PM-7 to arrive at my local FLL from Kenny Hamerman at Handguns4sale.com that is. I just checked the USPS tracking and it is now in town and out for delivery. I can hardly wait I just hope they get it in today and give me a call so I can fill out the paperwork and get started on the 3 day waiting period. So by next week she'll be home!!!!!
