$8600 obo 2006 Yamaha FJR1300 This is a 2006 Yamaha FJR 1300. It has 20,614 miles and I am the 3rd owner. It is in good condition, runs great, and has been well maintained. It has just had a recent oil and filter change (synthetic oil and OEM filter), and new rear differential fluid (OEM). Tires are in good shape also. It has been nicely farkled and makes a great distance tourer. ...

It's got just over 67K miles right now. Condition is around a 7 out of 10 in my opinion. It does use a bit of oil, maybe a quart every 1.5K or so depending on how hard it's ridden. Still very strong, has no problem running sub 11 second 1/4 miles or running up near 150mph. It's no show vehicle, it does have some character but it doesn't have any overt cosmetic issues. As far as reliability goes, ...

Hey guys, Time to clean out some items that I'm not using for various reasons. I've got two sets of EBC XC series rotors for an 05 FJR1300 (will also fit an 04 and maybe 06 and up???) One set is brand new, new in box, never been used. The other set were installed on the bike for about 1k miles or so when the center carrier started getting some surface rust spots on it. EBC had ...

I'm looking to replace my Ducati ST3. It's been a fun bike, but the position is to bent over for my back. I need something with a more upright seating position. I've been looking at the various Sport Touring bikes (C14, ST1300, FJR1300, and R1200RT), but in the back of my mind I've always liked the features found on the GSA. The main one being the lack of full body work. 90-95% of my riding is on...

2005 FJR1300 I bought a used set of floating rotors from a guy on the FJR Forum. They work great....mostly. They don't pulse if I'm slowing down, but if I come all the way to a stop the front end pulses pretty significantly from about 15mph to zero. Any thoughts on what that might be from? I cleaned the hell out of the rotors and put new pads on to no effect. Thoughts? Thanks!...
A workmate of mine has just pointed me in the direction of Motorcycle Tycoon . I haven't had a chance to play myself yet, but thought I'd share in case anyone is especially bored this afternoon... Thanks A-Wind, Twiner, Alain and Rabbi I'm looking at a Crash Bar mod. So far I have not removed the engine. I found a rustoleum product that matches the frame color perfectly on the Transalp page. I used it for minor touch ups and where I did a little welding. Thanks for the windshield ideas. I never found one I liked better for noise than the stock one on my TA. ...

Nice ride. I'm more of a BMW fan myself, when it comes to German cars. But no question Audi makes some good stuff. __________________ Joe '96 Camaro B4C M6 , White, 107k (no police use ever!), K&N FIPK, TB Bypass, Flowmaster, CAGS Elim., ZR1 SS wheels '05 Colorado LS M5 , Silver Birch Metallic, ...

I don't understand how the Boxster is ugly while the Cayman is not. Though I'm sort of the opposite about the Audi R8. Of course, I don't think the standard R8 is ugly, but the spyder version gets rid of the stupid "blade" on the side of the car and has reshaped rear 1/4 panels. I like the spyder version better (based on photos; the spyder isn't out yet). But the ...

Happy birthday to the ground!! I threw the rest of the cake too!! Welcome to the real world, jackass. I've seen this many times (though not on the board). I laugh every time. If you like that, search for "I'm on a Boat" (make sure to watch the album version) and "Jizz in my pants." Those guys are freaking hilarious....

Just a usual season for me. Twice to Winthrop, once to Baker, twice to Nakusp/New Denver/Kaslo, Sunshine Coast. Did a week into the John Day/Condon/Shaniko Oregon area with a couple buddies, bringing back good riding memories of this spectacular bike riding area. Took in the Barber Vintage Bike Festival, and Vegas Vintage bike auction. Purchased three bikes, Yamaha FJR1300, BMW R1200 GS and ...
