I have removed FCP7 using the FCP remover program. When i load FCP6 now, it cant seem to find any of my FX factory plugins, or Boris plugins. When I try to reinstall the FX factory plugins, it says the UPGRADE option, yet they still dont load up in FCP6. How can I find and remove or, make FCP see the plugins? I am working on a large project with HD footage in FCP 6. I recently changed some of my work flow. I started working with a master sequence that has every scene of the film as its own sequence/clip in the master, making every scene an easily movable piece. I have run into an issue where many of my 3rd party plugins effects do not work in FCP7, and I need these effects to work. problem is, apple does not let you open a project made in a newer version of FCP to open in an older version. FCS 2— I'm looking to install my copy of FCP on a MacBook Pro in order to dump P2 footage to it during a shoot I have going this week. I'm not interested in installing or using the whole suite. We have some flat art we want to bring into FCP so w can use as titling and to move across the screen. If the art is done in illustrator whats the best way to import it so that you can manipulate it in FCP? I would like the the background to be clear so the logo lays across the image. On my timeline I have a series of clips and most of them are red and say "reconnect media". I'm working the AVCHD files from my GH1 on a SD extreme card.
