B]Please Help[/b]. I have found a 2002 F350 2wd powerstroke the 7.3 automatic for $3000 but it needs a transmission so the person says. The owner is a younger kid who used it a lot at truck pulls and that was mainly what it was used for. What else could go wrong? I have looked up transmissions about $3500. Am I just getting myself into a mess? Would it be cheaper to change it to a manual tranny? ...

My 73 F350 ,390 with a 4 speedmanual (1st is compound low),is geared low and the revs are right up there at 55 mph...when haulin a load I'm satified, but when not haulin...I always wish for an extra high gear to get better gas mileage. is there a 5 speed manual trans that will bolt up to my 390?.........Pete

My F350 lets me down once in a while. It has happened 2-3 times. For no reason at all the batterys are flat enough I need a jump. Have charged them up and had them tested and they are ok. has Ford had an issue with electrical? The same has happened to my sons 2007. This ad is not displayed to registered members....

ok super tired of reading about the cps, so im going write about it. on a post a member said that he is running the 96 f350 7.3 cps in his 2000 f250 7.3. any advice if this would be a good idea or a bad one. some are starting to say the new grey one is doing good. more fuel milage so on and so on
