I recently had some problems with the extractor loosing tension on my TRS. After getting some direction on how to address the problem I ordered a tool and gauge to set and check the tension. When I checked the tension on my TRS it was about 12 oz and I adjusted it to about 28 oz, braved the -5F temp and took it out and fired off a 100 rounds without a single failure. I had about 2,500 ...

I've already found out that a spiral screw extractor is not backing out a snapped-off brass 10x32 screw. Would a straight screw extractor work/. Available sizes seem to start at .250 and up, while the 10x13 is roughly .156 Anyone make a straight screw extractor for #10 screws?

So I bought this broken bolt extraction kit made by alden called the Drill-Out Extractor. I ordered the 1/2 inch kit and they gave me a 3/8 inch instead. Now I am not all too sure how this thing works so I was wondering if this size would work on a 1/2 inch bolt.

While researching maintenance issues on my neighbor's 2003 Mini I found that BMW uses oil extractors to change the engine oil. Forums show positive impressions. Apparently there are two commonly available; one from AutoSport and one from Mityvac. Has anyone out there used one of these and if so which model and why? Thanks, Gary

My DW Pointman is having some failure to eject issues. I thought by tuning the extractor it would solve the problem. Now I'm thinking it might be the ejector. How loose should the ejector be?

Browning Gold 10 problem Last year during a hot snow goose shoot the extractor broke right behind the pin that holds it in. Easy fix at the gunsmith and I was off. Season was over by the time I got it back, less than a box of shells through it and it breaks again, Same spot!!!!!! Anybody else had this happen? Anything I should be ...
