Over the past few years I have accumulated a rather sizable collection of power adapters and chargers (both AC and DC) for various electronic devices that we no longer own. Does anyone have a suggestion for a source to donate these to? I hate the idea of just putting them in the trash. I tried the Free Stuff category on Craigslist without much success.

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone can help - I have a Bose Sounddock set up in my living room, the power supply is behind a bureau - I would like to listen to it in my kitchen often - but it is a real hassle to move the bureau to get the a/c power adapter out everytime - does anyone know where you can purchase a second adapter from and how much they are? It is the original sounddock with ...

Extra power for your A6 - Waste of money? So I bought my A6 not so long ago as my daily driver. I kinda thought it would just be my 'junker' that I used to go to and from work while focusing my upgrade time and money on my toy car. I was pleasantly surprised with the interior design, handling, and even the power and...

Simple question. Just wondering what the most powerful video card out there is which does not require any extra power. Looking at pictures on Newegg.com the 4670 doesn't seem to require one, would that be the most powerful?

I'm looking to buy some extra power springs for my xd45 magazines. Will the ones they sell at pistol gear fit? They seem to be used for both standard magazines and extended magazines? If these aren't the ones I need, does anyone have any recommendations (13+1 mags)? Thanks.

I received my s2895 w/ scsi from atacom, took about 4 days. I added in the comments section that I wanted one of the boards with the 24/8/6 power vs 24/8, and that's exactly what I got (I am hoping the extra power will increase stability... it seems to have only been removed to idiot-proof the board). I struggled w/ non-scsi vs scsi, and decided that I'll buy it for now and use it, and if I...

Thanks for the tips! One of the reasons I am considering an extra-beefy power supply is that I want to keep my options open for future upgrades, ie a socket 775 board and cpu, or a PC-DL w/ dual Xeons. I'll likely never have more than 4 HDDs and the DVD-RW, but I know if I had a pair of Xeons, my power requirements would go up and my required power connectors would change. It is ...

Although I have not experienced a problem such as this with the Power Tech motors (DG-280/380 series), I have found a problem with an SG2100 motor. Where the tube attaches to the motor stem (shaft), there was some extra play here. I cut out a small piece of shim stock (about 5/1000ths) and fitted this on one side of the motor stem, then tightened the bolt really good. The additional play ...

Yay, first review! Some comments, I notice that I don't have that much extra brain power to go around when driving (for obvious reasons), so it might seem like senseless rambling at some point. The next car review will have passby cameras and other views. When I originally recorded the review it was very, very cold out and I've already made the mistake of freezing my new camcorder. ...

These days you can get web hosting from a reputable provider for as little as $5.00/month and expect a reasonable quality of service. I guarantee you that the extra money it will cost you for the power (to run the computer 24/7 along with the AC you may need to keep your house at comfortable temperature) + the internet will cost you way more than $5.00/month. So then, why host on your own?
