My wife received ILE in Moscow 2 years ago. However, the expiry date on the visa and the expiry date on her passport don't correspond. (Her visa expired in may, and her passport expires in 2011). She took a trip to Switzerland last week and on her way back into the UK the immigration officer told her that her visa had expired (no shit, Sherlock!). The IO seemed confused but let her back in...

Oil and expiry date I bought some vegetable oil that is on sale. However there is no expiry date on it - so I check other oil (of various brand and kind) - and most of them do not have expiry date on it. So how could I know the oil is good and not stored for a year in the store?...

Hi I have just bid on some standard (instant) film for my polaroid 600 (instant camera) Unfortunately it wasnt until after I had done so that I realised the product's expiry date, (quoted by the seller) was about 4 months ago Has anyone else had a similar experience - and, if so, was film still usable after it arrived. Cheers,

I hope someone can help me. I am 20 years old, my boyfriend is 28, and we have been dating for almost two years. I have been having some pregnancy symptoms, and I missed my period this month. I found a pregnancy test in his closet that was probably left over from when he was married. The test's expiry date is 12/31/2009. Is it still accurate? I got a positive right away.

Hi All, I am trying to flow an expiry date from the AD to the ILM portal, this will eventually be used to disable a contractor's account. I ran into problems very soon and after reviewing numerous posts here, I still don't know whether this should be possible or not and whether the format I am using is right or not. The date value and format I am trying to flow to the portal is: 2009/11/23 ...

Hi all I am going back to the UK for a short holiday at Christmas. I have already booked the flights and now found that my passport expires in Febuary 2010. Do I need 6 months left on my passport to travel? If so, can i get a UK passport in a short length of time before I fly? I depart on the 24th December and leave the uk on the 3rd Jan

No it's not bad at all i've used 3 mobile broadband for the last 18 months as I've no landline. in that time I've moved from Derby>London>Scrarbrough> back to Derby and the connection has always been good - indeed where I live now I can watch iplayer with it. Their CS aren't great but I usually solve any issues (like with dongle) on my own

Just like with everything in the kitchen, the best test you have is your nose (along with your other senses). If it smells off, then it's probably off (doesn't apply to soft cheeses though....:P). As far as oil goes, it keeps for a long time before going rancid.

Adellagrey, it helps when one reads properly, I have missed that the separator between the seconds and the miliseconds is a period instead of a colon. After changing this and removing the "tt" at the end of the string, the date successfully flowed to the portal. Thanks for your help regards Johan Marais

Cheers, I've Just done a bit of research and have found out that they (polaroid) stopped manufacturing the film altogether in September of this year, so I guess, a lot of polaroid owners will be in the same boat, over the next few months - As you say, in the world of supply and demand, it's "BUYER BEWARE"(unfortunately) Thanks Anyway,

Yes ILE means she can stay indefinetly. I would contact the place of issue and tell them they made a mistake. Also, I hope you're looking into getting her naturalised because the laws change in July 2011 into probationary citizenship. Two years as of then, there will no longer be ILR.

I hope I haven't missed something (I did try to scan through the posts) but the membership expiry date appears to have disappeared again for a second time. It went after the summer upgrade (lots of posts on this) and then came back in July. Now after the latest redesign of the Members Area it seems to have gone again. Have others ...
