Valve, kindly look at other companies' expansion packs, especially Blizzard's (Burning Crusade/WOTLK). These expansion packs link all parts together concisely and essentially reinvent the game from the ground without actually having to do so. New modes (unlike the shallow survival mode and half-assed scavenger mode) of play are actually added and players will be enthralled with them for years ...

Yeah, it adds new things, but is it worth a whole $40? I've seen expansions for games that would be far better than this for less money. Sorry, EA needs to figure out that you can't overcharge and have a super ****** game at the same time.
