Looking to up the value on a huge asset... Michael Jackson's estate co-executors, John Branca and John McClain, are looking to substantially raise the value of the heavily-collateralized MIJAC Music Catalog. The Catalog, valued earlier this year at around $100 million, was used by Michael Jackson to secure at least two big loans. According to TMZ, Branca and McClain have entered ...

My main question is this- what is a good, secure way to make cash immediately available to one's executors after his death? It can take an incredible amount of time to get death certificates, especially if the guy died out of state. Meanwhile some bills need to be be paid to conserve the estate. Would a joint savings account with the executors work? Will they be able to access a joint ...

The executors of Michael Jackson's estate have filed documents, explaining why they should be entitled to more than the statutory fee most executors get -- a big reason ... Joe Jackson. According to legal docs filed with the court, co-executors John Branca and John McClain had to defend the estate from a steady barrage of attacks by Joe Jackson and, until recently, by Katherine Jackson....

Posted Dec 15th 2009 Michael Jackson 's estate has not paid the Special Administrators a penny, but the day has now come -- at least according to new court docs filed by John Branca and John McClain . The two men -- now officially the Executors of Michael Jackson's estate, are asking for 70% of the fees they have earned, pending court approval of the full amount. The papers do not ...

Now the executors of the estate want to rob Michael blind.. This is ridiculous.. If they are the executors does this mean the judge has to approve what they get? I am confused as to how this works http://www.tmz.com/2009/12/15/michael-jack...cclai n-probate/ Michael Jackson's Executors -- Pay Us Now! I'm sure we've all seen the title "Executor" attached to some quest-giving Forsaken. Suppose the title means something the same as General, or similar? I've read that the Dark Rangers are seen as the Forsaken's Generals, but there's now about as many Executors as Dark Rangers.

My mum died recently and it transpires she left a will with 2 of my cousins acting as the executors. She left me a small amount of money with both the executors recieving 2.5 times what I was left and the residue (approx £150,000) going to the church. I asked her solicitors if my her 2 grandchildren could have some of the effects from her flat including some family heirlooms which have no ...

I posted this question to Stack Overflow, but after 24 hours nobody has provided a useful answer... (For reference it is at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1864113/what-is -the-advantage-of-executors-over-threads-in-multit hreaded-application) Here is the question: I have seen several comments to the effect that Executors are better than Threads, but if you have a number of Threads ...

I have written before on the trouble we have had with the executors of my Uncles estate ( 2 solicitors from a local firm) I am currently waiting for their response to a formal complaint . My Uncle left cash and a property to 6 neices. My Aunt (his sister ) was to live in the bungalow for as long as she wished so it was put in trust in her name together with the executors. Sadly my Aunt is now ...

The executor who obtained probate set me a deadline to inform them if I wanted to "have" any of the deceased possessions. This time has recently expired due to my indecision/inability to sort out how to approach this situation (long story - too traumatic). Does this mean that the particular executor is now free (legally) to sort out this part of the estate?

vet8: That is possibly true, although I would be inclined to think that you buy the house and all the contents left in it at the time, but the remark is no help here. What do you suggest he does with the money, giving that it is impossible to prove definitely who owns it? Who should it go to, not the treasury surely as they steal all our money anyway. Er, it's quite a bit of help if you're ...

QUOTE (victory101 @ Dec 26 2009, 10:04 PM) I have a question and concern regarding the allowances given to the children and Mrs. Jackson. Do they have to stay on an allowance permanently? The estate is making a very large amount of money but the children and Mrs. Jackson together are getting approximately 1 million a year. I don't like the idea of the executors getting more money ...

You will probably have to take legal advice on this in order to ensure you get the best possible outcome for yourself. But my few observations would be as follows: I'm reading between the lines that you don't get on too well with the group - or am I wrong?? The fact there is a clause, I would guess you have to go along with what the executors decide, so as I see it, your options are: - ...

the solicitor was told that you didn't want to act so that power was reserved to you. You should obviously have been served with the notice but presumably it was overlooked or it went astray. Is it really possible for a power reserved application to be made without all the executor's signing an official form? The Guidance Notes for form PA1 seem to be pretty clear that if you submit ...
