I'm doing some work with Lexus Magazine and just read an article about one mans account running the Mt. Everest marathon and thought some of you might appreciate it. I can't even imagine how difficult that would be...I can barely run a 10K! Has anyone ever run a marathon through rough or mountainous terrain? What was it like? Mt. Everest Cookies 1 c shortening 1 t. soda 1 c molasses 3 T. ginger Flour to make dough to handle (about 3 cups) Cream shortening, add molasses to which soda has been added and ginger. Then add flour. Mix well. Form into rolls and chill. Slice and bake. Or can drop by teaspoon. Similar to a gingersnap. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen cookies
