I thought I would post this here since we have all already been through preparing for and giving birth. I'm 35 weeks pregnant on Saturday and hoping for a VBAC with this birth. My m/w has suggested I start taking EPO around now, but she didn't mention how to take it? I know you can take it orally or insert it vaginally? Any tips/advice or success stories about EPO?

Hi everyone. Wanted to let everyone know about this. My periods after stopping the pill 15 months ago were very irregular. They eventually settled down to 33/34 days. I started taking 3000mg of evening primrose oil capsules about 4 months ago, taking it only from CD1 to ovulation. My period have now settled to 28/29 days. Also i get a lot more EWCM. Just wanted to share this for anyone ...

I got my first batch at Target, they are 1000mg capsules. The second bottle I just picked up at a local health foods store. I think it ran me about $10 for 80 pills. Good luck I hope it works!!

I've been taking it orally for 2 weeks and I'm close to 38.5 weeks now. I'm still closed up tighter than a drum with no effacement...so unless it helps when the induction actually happens it did nothing for me. :(
