Totally confused, every single word I see goes well with both avoir and etre so I can't seem to know which words go with etre or avoir because they all flow too well... Oh jeeze help me. Why do some words only go with etre and some only go with avoir? Why just why can't they just keep it as ONE alone with either etre or avoir, they complicate everything so much and now I am lost!

Hi une vie peut-etre pas entierement devouee, mais vouee en grande partie a l'ecriture Id translate it as a life perhaps not entirely devoted to, but in large dedicated to literature what is then the difference between devoue and voue and both are able to be translated as devoted and dedicated. is one stronger than the other or perhaps more religious in meaning?

I dont quite understand this phrase if anybody could help me that would be great... Pour autant, le probleme de sante publique demeure en l'etat et la mobilisation collective ne saurait etre relachee. Excuse the lack of accents. Public health remains the same and mass mobilisation will never be released. (??????) Thanks in advance for any help.
