Hi there, I am a regular at the Seiko Citizen Orient forum. Recently picked up a mint Eterna-matic 1000. Well, I used to like vintages a lot but after a while decided to focus on Seiko and Oris. However the minimalist simple classic yester-year look of this Eterna captivates me. All is working condition with a loud crisp ticking, the crown is signed by the Eterna logo and so is the ...

I am one who has not been able to sell my Eterna Gold in order to redeem the gold value from it. It has been rejected, and I have been very upset with this situation. Ted's secret alloy has posed a problem with testing the authenticity of this gold. The gold dealers where I live have refused it. I see that QVC has a link on their gold page and, on their Eterna Gold page for a pace to ...

Searching for a vintage dress watch led me to this recent acquisition, an Eterna manual wind which I show here for your interest and of course, comments if you wish. Unfortunately, my pictures don\'t do the plain silvered dial justice, but I find the understated and simple effect of the whole watch very pleasing. Cheers

Getzen Valve Buttons Anyone know where I can score nickel valve buttons for a Getzen Eterna Severinsen, silverplate (c. 1967)? (they are slightly concave, lending a nice feel to the fingertip) A series of unfortunate events have left me without my originals... __________________ Bach Stradivarius 43 Bach NY #7 Getzen Eterna Severinsen Getzen Genesis '46 ...
My earlier post talks about my Eterna-matic find. I am just wondering: What do you guys look for in a vintage watch? Is it the brand that may have already been lost through the ages? Is the look/style that you are going after? Is it the rarity or uniqueness of the movement? Is it that the watch calls out to you? (buy me..buy me... ) Or is it you feel you are owning a part of history? ...

I sent Gold Redemption a Eterna Gold 14k bracelet on Monday to redeem the gold value. I heard back from them in yesterday's email. They are super fast! The bracelet I sent ( I believe) I'm not positive was 5.9 grams. My 7 1/4" Eterna Arrow link bracelet. About 1/4" mesh links with a lobster claw. They offered $68.67, which I accepted. I don't know if this is a good or bad payout, but ...
