Hi all, I am part of a modeling and simulation team developing a model of a radar that will track satellites and other space objects. We currently visualize the capabilities in Google Earth as a kind of quick-and-dirty method, but I think WWJ is a better suit for the more specialized/sophisticated application that we want to have. It seems the deciding factor may be the amount of time it ...

A processor of carrots cuts the green top off each carrot, washes the carrots, and inserts six into a package. Twenty packages are inserted in a box of shipment. To test the weight of the boxes, a few were checked. The mean weight was 20.4 pounds, the standard deviation 0.5 pounds. How many boxes must the processor sample to be 95% confident that the sample mean does not differ from the ...

Can anyone help me estimate my loan PMI insurance when I purchase. Here are my assumptions:  Credit score: 750 Purchase price:$550,000 Loan amount: $495,000 Downpayment:$55,000  I believe that PMI is basically the same as mortgage insurance. Am I wrong? Is there a better option to a conventional loan from a borrower's perspective?  I already have a FHA loan and I plan...

In the template, I "Save As" each time with a new client or estimate that I do, to create a unique Excel Workbook. What I want to do, is figure out how to get the value in a certain cell (total of the estimate), to go to another Excel ...

I have an estimating form that we use for estimating service jobs. I entered a dropdown box at the very top to allow the user to select the correct customer. However, there are special pricing rates that pull from another sheet ('Special Rates') this sheet is in order by customer account number. However, when a customer name is selected...
http://www.floppingaces.net/2009/11/28/obamacare-c ost-will-b... Michael F. Cannon from The Cato Institute writes about the trickery involved by Democrats in estimating how much the behemoth known as ObamaCare will cost and what the real cost of the Socialism will be: When we correct for both gimmicks, counting both on- and off-budget costs over the first 10 years of implementation, the ...

I'm estimating a house advantage of about 66%. You can only look at the last 30 hands and I'm constantly seeing the house win 20 of them. With odds like that, hopefully we will see a rebate in the future.

Say I am estimating these teams with their corresponding goals for tonight's game (not real numbers, just a hypothetical scenario): Kings - estimated goals of 2.5 Ducks - estimated goals of 2.75 I'm not sure how I can related these numbers and turn them into ...
