I've been reading on several Triumph forums about the cracked engine blocks at the starter area. The cases were redesigned on 06 and later. My question is has anyone had the crack happen on the 06 or later bikes? Thanks for any response. ( I'm looking at used bikes as a second naked bike.)

Hmmm, maybe Triumph should offer this repair kit to those with broken starters.... perhaps they could work out a deal with Honda to supply rope-recoil starters! Might just get you home with a weak ...

Then use a different type of oil. I tried Mobil 1 once in our van and it had so much engine/valve noise, I thought I'd have to take it to the dealer. I just changed the oil to a different brand and it's quiet again. Won't touch that Mobil 1 again.

Unfortunately, the numbers are not always in a direct row, but the 1st number by the "T" is the ...
