"Perform a system software update to renew the encryption key." is what it says when I try to watch Star Trek. It's my sister's system. Somebody else set up the PS3 so I am completely clue less. Is the system gonna blow up?

I tried to install scom 2007 r2 on win2008. At the end of installation, it tried to backup the rms key. I got following messages "Requested registry access is not allowed.,scom 2007". I am running installation as user who is member of local Administrator group.

I am using the PS3 as a blu ray player. last night, with company over, all snuggled in to watch a movie: I got the following error message: to play this bd you must renew the encryption key perform a system update to renew the encryption key how do I do that?

Restore asking for encryption key in middle of backup

I haev 2 different restores that I was attempting on 2 different backups. On each one, part way through on certain files it started asking for the encryption key. I typed in the key for th eaccount and that didn't work. So I had to end of skipping those files. Is there a way to fix this? Are the files unretrievable now?

anyone use IBM's EKM to manage encryption keys, such as for LTO4? if so, I am using version 2.1 from 2008. The question is, should I upgrade to a higher version, and if so, what is it? I see a 2009 version on the IBM site for it. The reason I'm asking is that EKM is running on an AIX server running v5.3, and I plan on upgrading AIX to 6.1. The whole thing is officially somebody else's problem. I'm not going to spend anymore time on this trying to fix it from the middle when I clearly have no clue. Alright well typically its not that hard to get ride of the SAM lock tool. Its a bad idea to press that of course, but what you want to do is when you start up the labtop right when u see the first screen press F8 and load up the advanced boot menu from here you will see an option that says load from last good configuration and do that. That click on the press R+windows key and type in syskey ...
