I have used k/ubuntu for some years but I am thinking of trying fedora 12 on my netbook. Being a portable device I want to protect my data by encrypting /home. Ubuntu has recently introduced an easy way to do this during install that uses ecryptfs to encrypt the user directory. I am not sure on the best way to do this in fedora. Hi, I would like to use the ENCRYPT alternative syntax for the ENCRYPT_RC2 function in my SQL PL trigger in hopes that I can re use the trigger on DB2 for LUW without any changes. Are there any drawbacks to referencing the ENCRYPT_RC2 function as "ENCRPYT" on the iSeries?

There is the Enterprise (Server) Edition, Mobile Edition, and normal (for clients/users) I am wondering if were to buy Ent ed. and put SecureDoc on a separate fileserver, can it encrypt the HDD of all the client pc.
