The normal way to install the CW MP3 encoder requires one to install it from the install disk. There is a install utility for this on the disk. But as you all know 8.5 has no disk thus no install utility to install the encoder. This would not be a problem if I didn't have Pro Audio 9. I have finished writing a C & C++ based component to take input from the Phidgets Encoder to control the master volume. It works with XP, Vista and Win7. I'm encoding video from Adobe CS4 Premiere through the Adobe Media Encoder. Encoding as h.264 for playback through Ooyala. The .mp4 out of Media Encoder does not have an initial key frame,which makes the first few frames of the Ooyala encoded flash video garbage. Any idea why I'm not getting an initial key frame? thanks.

Has anyone had the problem in Adobe Encoder of it leaving out templates or randomly putting pieces of them in? I'm sending a project from Premiere CS4 to Encoder and it randomly leaves out the template for some reason. I'm trying to save a MPEG2 DVD file. All of a sudden "file / export" does not result in Adobe Media Encoder opening. Encoder is certainly there, but there is no repose at all when called upon to do its task. I would say something is "broken" in PremierePro that should be bringing up the encoder function. Any clues? Chuck
