Freelander 2 electrics Does anyone have a FL2 who can confirm that there are no fuses for the brake lights. Apparently the ECU monitors the current and breaks the circuit instead of a fuse. So instead of changing the fuse yourself you have to go to a dealership and have the ECU reset. This is going to be expensive if this is the case.

I have a S plate 2.0litre petrol frontera which has been running fine until today, I got into the car turned the key and the electrics flashed on fan started etc. then everything dies no starter circuit,, ignition lights no cental locking nothing works. is there some kind of main fuse or battery isolator switch. any ideas would be greatfully recieved Andy

Idiot mistake now dead electrics The battery on my 400sldi was flat (not started for a while) so with jump leads I connected up to a spare fully charged battery. I bought this bike and just used the rolling frame and plastics, so i have the complete bottom end of the engine in bits, the bigend is stuffed and theres no barrel/cylinder. Have all the electrics, exhaust, radiator with shroud and louvre, carbi, carbon fibre reeds, airbox with filter. If your chasing other parts i may have them just ask. Its a 1993 model.
