My mother-in-law asked to me look at the lights in her kitchen....center island area...8 6" cans with CFL's. One light was on, all the rest were out. Measured the continuity from the first to the second...neut ok...Hot was open....luckily the cans are retrofits....i.e., they push up into a hole...pop the clips out and you can pull them down. Check the first one...looks ok...pull down ...

Before I mess something up permanently can someone tell me how to release the weird, roundish, gray connector on top of the gas tank? There is no obvious way to release it. It has 4 yellow or yellow blend wires on it and it's the wire that goes thru the grommet from the interior to the top of the tank. I'm stripping down an '02 that's been wrecked.

Hi, I want to install a MODULITE electrical mudule for my hitch connector. Does the W210 have a prewired plug that has all the electrical signals already or do I need to tap into each individual wire? Also, which MODULITE model would you recommend? Thanks

I recently replaced the heater core on my 1992 GT and got quite familar with the underdash wiring. I repaired quite a bit of splicing (14 years and 8 different owners woth) and also removed an abandoned alarm system to boot but I found this harness just floating under my dash. It has three wires going to it Rd/Lt Grn, Blk and PPL/Org. I cannot find what it connects to and it is making me nuts. ...

Thats kinda sad only going down past 1/4 once and it craps out shortly. Did you use a cardone/autozone pump? AC Delco, Walbro??? Does it make you want to install an older style mechanical pump's pick up and an inline fuel pump along the frame too make it easier when it craps out again???
