Car was running earlier today. I parked it and came out later to move it. My car won't turn over. I don't hear the starter at all. I have lights and radio working. Sound like fuel pump is going. A month ago I had the battery and alternator replaced along with the connector that goes to the coil pack. After reading around the forum I figured I'd check the switch that gets press in when the clutch ...

Electrical Wiring in the Home

Hello, I am replacing a range, with a single wall-oven and a cooktop.  The wall breaker for the range show 50amps.  Wall oven (GE PT925) show 40 amp need.  Cooktop (GE PHP900) show 40 amp need.  Running a new separate wire from breaker box appear to be a huge effort?  Is it needed or can I split the wire from the range? Answer If I see this correctly, the oven and the cooktop needs a 40 amp ...

Howdy, New to the forum and actually posting this for a friend with no internet access. He has a Curtis snow pro 3000 and apparently his electrical connection (plug) is broken, which from viewing the forums seems like a common problem. Basically he has asked me to view some prices for a new connection. I guess the local shop in town has the part for $180 bucks. Is that a fair ...

Looking around the engine bay last night and found a connection on the passenger side fender. It is a larger 2"? connection that comes from the same harness that the A/C hi/lo switch hooks into. Then it runs over to the passenger side fender right next to the washer fluid and ends. It is capped and I took i pic but i can't upload it at he moment. Anyone know what it could be?

I'm not sure what to call this part. It came with our used Casita and locks the trailer connector to the 7 pin plug on the van. There was a nut on the bottom that tightened it so the plug wouldn't work loose. We lost the nut at some point, guess we didn't tighten it enough, and the plug came loose on our last trip, no brakes or lights and the battery went dead trying to keep the fridge ...

I have a 91 Explorer. Eddie Bauer that I purchased for an off road truck. Today I noticed there is an electrical connector that appears to be going strait into the rear diff housing. What is this? Was electric lockers an option on these explorers?

Dude- that switch still looks broken. I have a feeling you're going to have problems. The method I wrote about earlier for bypassing the switch is the only way to get reliable starting until you can get a new switch. Be careful if you do that though because you will be able to start the car in gear with the clutch engaged.

OK, the way is should be is "smart fortwo", but like many things in life, people who don't understand get it wrong. So what? It's similar to people calling a loose electrical connection a "short circuit". NOT even close, but people do it all the time. Loose Electrical Connection = The lamp flickers Short Circuit = Bright sparks, loud pop sound, and possible fire So, I don't ...
