Is there any easy way to tell by looking at an Eldon motor whether it is 6 volt or 12? I know that early cars were 6 volt and at some point they switched to 12 volt motors. I have a bunch of cars that I am cleaning up and repairing to be run again and it would be helpful to know what is what. You would think that a 6V motor on a 12V supply would run twice as fast as a 12V motor, and that I ...
