My DW Pointman is having some failure to eject issues. I thought by tuning the extractor it would solve the problem. Now I'm thinking it might be the ejector. How loose should the ejector be?

I have a Colt Mustang Plus 2 and the ejector reversed while I was cleaning it. I was able to compress the spring and it fell back into position. The problem now is that it will not cock. I can only keep the hammer back by setting the safety on. Anyone know what's going on?

The ejector on my RIA GI has come loose but the front leg is still held in place by the pin. I would like to remove the ejector and re-install with some loctite however I cannot seem to get the small pin to budge with the punch. Any tips / tricks that may help?

I have a friend overseas with the Peters Stahl PSP -7 Multicaliber 9x19 pistol. He needs an ejector for shooting the 9mm. Apparently it can be changed from 9mm to .45 and back again. I know nothing about this gun. I can send a picture if it's needed. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You

Is it possible to get a small amount of brass flow into the ejector, below maximum pressures? My velocities are far below the published maximum but it appears that I'm still getting some flow into the ejector. There are no other over pressure indications. Cartridge: 308 Winchester Case: Nosler custom (new) Powder: H4895 (41.5gr) Primer: Federal Gold Medal (GM210M) Bullet: Nosler ...

1. What is the optimum ejector length for Commander- and Officer-sized 1911s? 2. What is the optimum profile for the tip of the ejector? (photos?) 3. Does this profile vary from Gov't to Commander to Officer? Thanks, folks. Best, Jon

Help! Out here in deer country and discovered that the bolt on my older Ruger M77 (safety on tang, not MK II) won't shut with a cartridge in place. Seems that the ejector pin remains extended, thus preventing extractor claw from seizing the rim of the cartridge so I can't get that extra 1/8 inch to lock the bolt. Yes, it serves me right for ignoring this rifle for ten years while I hunted in slug...

Having wanted one for better than 35 years, finally bought myself an A5. (Actually picked up a Savage 726 first, remembered I always wanted an A5, then went out & found one, a 12 ga. magnum. It'll be my duck gun.) Anyway....it is a 1970 era, came with original full choke barrel and a Japan Invector barrel, both 28 inch. I noticed that the original barrel ejector had a little zig zag spring ...

My magazine, (clip), equipped .308 99C has two magazines - with one, it ejects fairly well, with the other it doesn't. With either, the action is pretty stiff toward the last part of the lever upstroke. I'm guessing some judicious manipulation of the magazine that doesn't allow ejection, (maybe slight bending of lips), would help. Also, is the stiffness in the final part of the lever ...

A friend just showed me a 44 cal Remington that he got from his father several years ago. It is a cartridge conversion and the patent date shows 1858. It has an ejector rod on the right side and the left side of the frame is stamped CA xxx. It is very nice with lots of original blue and nice grips. He has been trying to find out what the CA with 3 digits stands for? the only thing I could ...

Guys, Do you know what it's called? The rifle I saw was a stainless Winchester 70 in .270 WSM. It had a mossy oak stock and no sights. 24 inch barrel and Mauser claw extractor and ejector. Looked awful nice. Thanks.

Remington Model Four that I purchased new in 1986. This model was made between 1981-87 and was the upgrade version of the 7400. It is in excellent shape and comes with 3x9x40 scope, leather shoulder strap and 40 rounds of ammo. Blueing is 99% (one small scratch on ejector side-see pic) and wood is perfect. $550 or will trade for sig P238 or compact 1911 in .45.
