If I am fairly lactose intolerant, is it better for me to drink egg nog than milk? As far as I know, egg nog has much less milk content, so that's good, but does it have as much protein?

i never really liked it in the past but i havent had it in a long long time. how do you guys feel about it ? i have a christmas party friday night and i may try and get bombed on nog and see how i like it. any good recipes ?>

I personally enjoy eggnog although if it's too sweet, I have to dilute it w/ milk, my husband HATES it as do most people I know. I don't eat Cranberry Jelly, my husband does w/ turkey. And I've never tried fruit cake and I don't think I ever will. What are your thoughts on these three things? Are they Holiday "Goodies" or Holiday "Nasties" ?
