My programming days are many years in the past - so I'm trying to get back into it. My current problem is as follows - I have a word document that is set up as a mailmerge document that is merged to email (through outlook). The merge records are in an excel spreadsheet (the email address is in a field called EMAIL). My emails are getting rejected by the recipient domain because they're being sent...

Hi Everyone! I have a report that contains customer detail information at the top in a series of textboxes. A matrix of information and then an image of a graph at the bottom. For some reason Excel places a 1px wide column between each of the textboxes at the top of the report, even though they butt up against each other (verified in the properties). These additional columns are ...

Loading Excel I have half figured this out but the last bit is stumping me. What I've been asked to do is sort some data in an Excel spreadsheet. I find it much easier to write SQLs in PHP/MySQL rather than VBA so I prefer to do it this way. In a folder there are 20 spreadsheets with one being added per week. I want to list the ...

Hi Everybody, I have a number of excel files in SharePoint with data for different countries. They all have the same formatting and number of columns and are all .xlsm files. The idea is to get all data from these separate files and to merge them into a master spreadsheet I called Summary.xls. From this summary, it will be possible to have a pivot table for all managers to ...

I'm quite sure I'm set everything up as needed, and yet if we try select to "view in browser" for a 2007 excel spreadsheet we get a Excel web Access error: "An error has occured. Please contact your system administrator if this problem persists". I followed the directions to a tee from a post here: 1. Go to Shared Services Administration>Excel Services Settings> change “...

Hi, I've been given a WSS 3.0 pre-installed by an external consultant on an SBS. He assures me that I'm in the system as a WSS admin, although not a network admin. The option to import a list from Excel is missing - can anyone tell me why? Is this an option he skipped during installation? Thanks Alan Moved by Mike Walsh MVP MVP , Moderator Monday, November 23, 2009 10:32 AM SBS ...
