I need a replacement probe for my egt gauge. Its a banks gauge, and i can't find a probe on their site. Found this micro-1000 thing and it seems like it would work. Just looked around some more, summit had a bullydog for $40 and they have the banks probe for $115 Anybody know where to get one cheaper? Or if there is a better probe to use that won't rust out in a year or so. ...

Digital gauges very easy to hook up, very accurate and reliable. Will take just about any input voltage, current or thermocouple. Hi folks, from what Ive been experimenting in the last month, I had a EGT Sensor that failed. Since I made 2000 km(running stock) and I did not went to dealer because I'm missing some time. Yesterday we put vag-com in and check for errors... result error code for too much oil ash in DPF. Checked further and the last regen was at 2250ish km. So result : EGT sensor failure stop regen cycles....

I try to connect a Defi EGT sensor in the VFD psi3 data monitor but does not appear they collaborate! knows somebody relatively... The EGT sensor seems ok its brand new and I measured his electric resistance and it is ok. The monitor is the most likely to have the problem because it is turned on and i set that the EGT is fitted and i get not right figures...EGT temperature ...

I am trying to get the correct size tap and die for my autometer pyrometer egt sensor i have been to home depot and this thing does not thread into any of their test threaders, I have that 37 piece tap and die craftsman metric thingy and nothing seams to fit. does anyone have any info on the specific tap size that will work drilling through the downpipe? I have my probe wired up to a Symtech EGT module, which was installed ay Symtech and shown on the paperwork to be wired into x6 on my v2.2 board. I cannot get the gauge to display anything other than 0* in MT. I have the gauge set up in MT to display upon startup in the gauge 4 spot, but no temp ever shows up. How do I get it to work? I also have an issue with my GPO on x5 controlling my fans....

Ive been searching for EGT sensors for my 2001.5 audi s4.. Ive been trying to search for it online... Ive been trying to shop and order them online.. I will be tapping my Jspec 96 downpipe later today and then dropping the engine with the downpipe attached. I have the Nexus voltmeter and EGT gauge. I haven't dug into the voltmeter gauge yet, but it has always lit and cycles when ignition turns on/off, but has never measured the volts. Does anyone else have this gauge and can tell me why it may not be working? Also, I am thinking about getting the wideband that matches my other gauges, but at $400 do you guys think it is really worth it?
