I have a nice Zebra Eel in my 120 Gallon tank. I just noticed today that one of his eyes is puffy and white. Seems to have a white glaze over his eye. Does anyone know what this might be, and what I can do to help my eel out? Thanks!

So... I'm looking to buy a live eel tomorrow. Can anyone suggest a grocery store in the GTA that 1) Sells decent quality live eels? (I.e. doesn't taste too "earthy", i.e. you bought eels there a couple times and it didn't taste wrong to you) 2) Offers a good deal on eels this weekend? I have had this american eel for 1 1/2 years and he is only about 5 inches long and now he suddenly wont eat! Ive tried the pellets he always has eaten his whole life and chopped up shrimp, what else could i try? He is getting skinnier and not as active... What do i do?

Perhaps spp119 can explain why, legally, that EEL gets to pick their 2 Blocks before we pick our 2 Blocks. Keep in mind though that the EEZ Blocks are divided into 3 different zones. So basically we'll get 1 Block in Zone A and 1 Block in Zone B. Mike

Going from Brackish to full marine Can anyone tell me how to acclimatize my eel to full marine from brackish? Just got my new 55 gallon and want to start it out marine. He's at a Sg of 1.015 now. It'll be a month or two to start up my tank, in the mean time i'd love to get him going. Any ideas?
