I have 48lb injectors, Megasquirt 1 v2.2. I can't afford bigger injectors and the only effective way I can think of running E85 on my setup is with an FMU. I know everybody hates FMUs for their inability to control AFRs. I only want it to boost my fuel psi so that I can gain the extra flow for the E85. I have MS for tuning. When my funds are better I will get some 160s. I can't afford race gas ...

Has anybody tried converting their SC to run on E85? What are the benefits to it? I've seen some dsm's and honda's at the track running on it and they seem to make pretty good power.

Yea, ive googled it, but it just basically tells me its a "healthy for the environment" type of gasoline. Ok I get that part... Buuuuuut, Ive see other people's setups and they have E85 on thier setups and see more HP numbers. Anyone know how I can ad this to my 06 WRX? Do i need a bigger fuel system? If so, how? What do they mean by that? Im looking to ad this before I get my tune soon...

e85? Can I run e85 in a 95fsb with a 5.0? Would it screw anything up? Or do I have to adjust the timing? I just found a gas station that sells it for 30+cents less than 87. I would like to run it if it won't mess with anything. __________________

trades/cash. $2200 obo. ZC/mini-me new clutch a6 tranny car is tuned on E85 check engine shift light, 2-step, by Dynotuned performace, 450cc injectors, OBD1 conv. T3t04e turbo, log manifold, ebay wasegate and BOV, open downpipe. no codes runs and drives great. made 307/250 the car is now tuned at 270whp. burns no oil, shifts nice. call if interested....

Am I going to explode myself by running E85 while I am throwing codes for evap system leak? I found an article somewhere that suggested smoke testing for evap system leaks while using e85 could cause explosions. Now I'm kind of worried. Just researching an E85 tune and read about cold starts. . . For you guys using E85 here in the midwest, how bad are the cold starts in the dead of winter? Like -20* to +20* range? Also, I often leave my car at O'hare for a few days at a time, if I come back after a string of 0* days , is it going to be even worse than letting it sit outside for just a few hours? Mike...

I get questions almost every day about E85 fuel setups and even E98 fuel setups. I hope this can and will help. I will be adding and adjusting information over time First and foremost. Everyone seems to be an expert on this fuel. I'm no expert. I'm still learning but the difference is I am actually using the fuel. If someone tells you E85 is a bad fuel, not better than pump gas or xyz, etc....

i know it's a loaded question but i'm just wonder what guys are running for compression with boost and e85. i'll be doin small block 406 and a procharger. is there a general rule of thumb? and would you have to run some sort of intercooler at some point? lookin to make low 700 on a street tune and up around 900+ with more boost. i know theres a bunch of variable but i'm just lookin on ...

Hey guys i was wondering if it would be safe to run e85 on a 2.8 kb behemoth for 75mm tb with the spacer for a sbtb,stage III cams,full exhaust etc....and 23-27psi? My fuel system consits of twin gt40 pumps,modified fpdm,fore fuel fails, 80lbs injectors, aftermarket line and fuel filter. Also i got a ba3000 and jlt high boost cold air. Hi, have a rear speaker that is blown that I would like to replace. I can't find too much info on this. I cannot be one of the first. I don't want to replace many speakers, just the blown one. Anybody know how hard it is to even take whatever apart that needs to be taken apart. It is tight back there - even when I am cleaning.
