Has anyone installed a Flowmaster dual exhaust kit on a 5.7 ? Wondering how the driver side will rout around, and if I need to get some kind of heat shield.

ok I searched and read that dual exhaust means losing power... looked up scavenging and I THINK I understand it, but now have a question... MY UNDERSTANDING (please correct me if I'm wrong I'm still a noob)... The problem is that the pressure in the exhaust has to be higher than the atmospheric pressure outside the exhaust otherwise it would try to flow back in...thus slowing the ...

Time to run exhaust on the engine in my sig line. I have a dual outlet 2 1/4" header and you know the space and routing problems on our little toy's. Especially since my exhaust exits on only one side. I was thinking about running a dual in/dual out single muffler, which both Flowmaster and Magnaflow make. I need to combine the dual outlet header somewhere either with an X-pipe or single chamber ...

I saw that PA has a dual exhaust system for $700. Are there any other members that have had a muffler shop run some pipes? If so how much? I think $700 is way too much.

Header is a competition header with heavy guage flange that will never warp or distort! Exhaust tips have silencer baffles frm motorcycle and is enough to quite system without other mufflers I've run next...

Did you guys have to change any brake hoses and lines in the rear? I was skimming through the NPD catalog for restoration parts and when I came across the exhaust section, it stated for 65-66 Mustangs that if you were converting to dual, you HAD to replace the hoses and lines because of extreme heat from the exhaust I believe it was.

Hi guys, new to the forum here. Just got my Magnaflow dual exhaust installed, windows tinted, and debadged the 3.5L emblems on the side. I also just ordered a BigBully CAI. Looking to do some more mods but not quite sure how many I want to do. I have noticed that I can't stop wanting to change things about it and make it more unique. Anyway I will be posting a few pics and sound clips of the ...

About to update my car with dual exhaust from a "97 MGM parts car. Question is should I keep the factory resonators that are in the dual exhaust system(my single xhaust doesn't have one)or cut them out and use long tips or something. I am planning on putting a aet of Flowmaster's or Ultraflow's on it also instead of the factory ones. I have found all kind of sound clips with cars that have these ...

Custom Dual Exhaust for 86.0 86.0 W/ motorsports Xpipe. Going to take my car to an exhaust shop to have Cats installed. I'm considering having them welded on instead of using the Fiberglass (or whatever that stuff is) clamp assemblies. While they are at it, I'm going to get a price on a dual exhaust install. ...

I modified a GT exhaust for my '85. To make it work, I cut out a section of pipe after the 90 degree bend on the driver's side. Then I welded the end back on. At the front I cut off about 2 inches and welded on a piece of 2.5 inch pipe so it could slip on the end of the X-pipe and use regular 2.5 inch clamps. It ...

I was more looking for sound and looks. Maybe I'll look into true dual. Either way I think it's gonna be expensive. I was looking at some eBay headers for $59 but I don't want to risk it. I'm gonna save up and do it right.
