I live S. of DC and can catch an Amtrak to NYC where I'm working now on planning a two night stay, preferably in a central location. (Then again, I could drive or fly, too). I just bought an ml430 w/50k miles. She's clean as can be, but needed new rotors & a few relays. My issue is the drive train has a very high freq vibration I can feel in the wheel and shift knob. I was just on the Amtrak site and for the cost of the train ride I could fly in to JFK AND get a hotel for two nights!
