My 300 TD has a sound I can't figure out. A rhythmic "clanking" coming from under the car, on the drivers side it seems, behind the drivers seat. Clanking only happens when load is applied. ok i broke a cv joint; h yoke; dubble carter i have had guys tell me all kinds of diffrent names 4 it ik it goes on the front driveshaft but i had one on my rear and not my front. do i even need this part on my bronco. one guy told me that someone put my front driveshaft on the rear but im clueless

there is a little bit of play in the yoke on the rear drive shaft where it goes into the transfer case is this normal or do i have a worn bearing in the t case? it is not the u-joints! Register today or sign-in to remove these ads!

Hi, Curious if anyone has a busted Warn Winch with a good drive shaft from it that's just sitting around? I replaced the end cap on it but didn't realize that the drive shaft that I had sitting on the work bench wasn't supposed to be tapered that much (at least I think it's not based on the pictures from the warn winch parts diagram).
