Hi...with my old Ikea kitchen I could easily remove the drawers by lifting them up slightly. I have a new kitchen with a different design drawer and can't seem to work out how to remove them...they wont lift up or budge at all. Any suggestions? Is there a knack I am missing?

My Mom is not putting her clothes in the laundry. She is putting them back in the dresser drawers. Wearing dirty socks, etc. I have tried to talk to her, she gets very agitated when I go thru her drawers. I've talked to the folks in assisted living and they say she gets them back out of the laundry basket. They suggested taking her clothes out of the room when she goes to bed, but she gets very ...

up with me. The crap is starting to overflow and make the drawers hard to close. I should have foreseen this! No drawer has infinite space, yet DH's ability to strew crap around the house is. Infinite, that is. Any suggestions? It's stuff like cds, work related paperwork, magazines, brochures, things that go to computer things, and junk and stuff. And sundry items.

I am in the process of re-doing a design for my kitchen. I have an island, but for proper flow I am contemplating the addition of refer drawers in the island on the cooktop side to allow for storage of items that I routinely need at the cooktop or oven. I am leaning towards the kitchenaid refer and drawers, but have not committed yet. Sub-Z and the others make them, but are they worth the ...

On iVillage Food I just saw this terrific list of Essential Gadgets. Are any of these in your cupboard or drawers? If you have any of them, which ones do you actually use? http://www.ivillage.com/essential-gadgets/3-a-5793 9 A kitchen funnel--for filling jars and bottles. A pair of kitchen shears--great for cutting herbs or poultry. A meat pounder--produces very thin slices of meat ...

To me braden is too young to go in a normal single bed, i could see him climbing out and hurting himself by opening drawers or drinking the toiletries etc on the changing unit. Also, with new baby sharing a room the idea of him being able to get out of bed and maybe pull the babies arm or leg terrifies me. But my problem is this - Braden has learnt how to fall out his cot, its a pretty ...

Am I the only one who ends up with a ton of half-used, never-used products in the bathroom? I am on a mission to clean out the medicine cabinets and the drawers and shelves. I can't believe how much skin care, hair products, sun lotions, jars, etc. I have accumulated. To me, one of the worst offenders are those damn freebies you get at the makeup counter when you buy something. I stopped taking ...

Mini receiver.... Hi all, Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere. I'm looking for a low profile receiver with HDMI inputs. The media center that I bought has two drawers but they are too shallow for my older JVC receiver. It doesn't have to have radio, just do 5.1 and be thin. Any ideas? I see a Sony one every now and...
