Hi New guy here... We have a 300' drag strip at our local NASCAR track in La Crosse. Some of my friends here would like to build or buy a very cool and fast race car. Post your times, what mods do you have, how do you launch, and tires. And cheap ways to make your 1/4 mile faster, can't break the bank ---------------- My time right now is 15.2 with under $500 in mods, but that was my first time drag racing. If I can get at least 14.9 I'll be damn happy. My launch is not good yet, I'm trying to eliminate wheel hop so for now I'm launching...

Just in case anyone is interested I thought I would upload a scan of all the gear ratios I came across for various transmission types. For the in game stuff the transmission maker (Muncie, Borg Warner, etc...) makes no difference because it will never break, but I included it anyway. Which 12v motor is the best set up for a build up for mild drag racing ? Is a 1st or 2nd generation chassis a better base. I'm looking to run 12's or 13's.
