Will paying AA's be compensated for the amount of downtime and problems with SN? Still having problems with loading, searches etc. Traffic to our website from SN has fallen sharply since the problems. Cheers, Bob

The hosting company will be installing new kernal and rebooting the server this evening. This will result in a few minutes downtime (probably less than 10 minutes) some time between 10pm and 4am. I cannot be more precise as they are doing a large number of servers this evening.

I have a column that is a INT data type that needs to be changed to a BIGINT data type. The column is a identity column that is reaching upper limits and part of the PK. The table has 1.5 billion records and very little downtime. I was thinking of replicating the table to reduce the needed downtime to change the data type. I have a two hour window for maintenance each month to make changes....

All LOTRO Game Servers will be brought down on Tuesday, December 1 at 6:00AM Eastern (-5 GMT) in preparation for the release of Siege of Mirkwood, which will be available when the servers come back up! Release Notes and Known Issues will be available closer to the release.
