How does the Downrange 28 ga. wad measure compared to the Win AA-HS and CB 5034A wads in overall length? I cannot load the Win wad on my PW 900 due to length and clearance with the wad ram. The CB wad works great. Don't want to buy and find thet are same as Winchester. Thanks Bob

I shoot Berettas with 3 inch chambers and Optima bores. The highly touted downrange wads are not the best for me. Downrange wads give me odd sounds and bloopers. Why? Hold the base of a CB TGT copy against a DR TGT copy, hold a CB 1100-12 base against a DR copy. Hold a DR 12S3 copy's base against a CB copy and notice that there is a reason why Downrange wads load so easily on your reloader. ...

I am looking to change from the AA12SL pink wads for 1 ounce loads I'm using now to a Downrange wad. I do not shoot a lot of 12 gauge, but I may shoot some trap leagues or 5-stand leagues. I may also shoot the 12 gauge in the 12 gauge events for skeet instead of the 20 gauge I shoot now. I'd like to keep velocity around 1200, and pressures out of the redline. Add: wads will be used in winter ...

Conditions downrange leave troops susceptible to kidney stones By Seth Robbins, Stars and Stripes Mideast edition, Tuesday, October 6, 2009 Walking to the latrines, Spc. Jonathan Grizzard ignored the back pain that had awoken him early. He was about to start his day as an ambulance driver and cook at Bagram air base in Afghanistan, and this was no time for cramps. But the sharp ...

My husband was moved remote and so no small freezer anymore. I have a bunch of freezer pops that I have no use for now. Wondering if anyone has a SO that has a small freezer and would like me to MPS them out to them.

Yeah, they ate them up when they had access to a freeze so I bought a big 200ct. box and than bam, he gets moved and they have nothing! They have just enough power to run the computers at work, lol.

Okay, I got it on December 5th, and bad weather has kept my shooting time to a minimum. I have, however, managed 250+ rounds downrange, and so far, not so much as a hiccup. I've fired three brands of ball, along with quite a few 230-grain round nose lead reloads. Everything has functioned perfectly. I know my manual says to break in with 400-500 rounds, but with performance out of the...

Well if it was me, I would be using the Downrange DR-XL-1 neon green wad in those Rem hulls and be happy knowing that there is no better fitting or performing wad in that hull. I'll back up Curley on this one. I just switched to Downrange XL-1 neon ...

I use Promo in every 12 gauge loading that I do. Yes, fitting the Orange XXL-1 wad into a Rem hull can be a bit harder to set up. I did it because Kevin, Your friend at Downrange, suggested it for colder weather. He did so because of testing results at his facility, of which I tend to have a bit more faith than for other reports. What I did might seem stupid to some, but Kevin gave his blessing ...
