http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1261180080...7s_Mo st_Popular QUOTE Under the looser requirements, a borrower with a credit score of 680 or higher in New Orleans, for instance, can finance up to 95% of a home's value. Before the change, a borrower who wanted to finance that much of a home's value would have needed a credit score of at least 700.

We sold a vehicle on 6/27/09 with a down payment for $2500.00. The customer paid $2000.00 with a check and the other $500.00 with cash. We transfer the vehicle on his name and got tags for him. On July 8, 2009, we have a notice of our bank for his check been return for stop payment. All this happens while he still driving our vehicle. It was a 04 GMC Envoy. We assuming he used it for the weekend ...

Can I withdraw from my 401K to use for the down payment on my first home WITHOUT those early withdrawal fees? I've been researching and I'm getting differing answers. Some say yes; some say no, that's only for IRA's. Main point is I'm not gonna do it if I'm going to get penalized. EDIT: More researching led to this - http://forums.kiplinger.com/showthread.php?t=2383 Quote:...

I have a fair credit score and will be in need of a new car very soon. I know that I need to pay the highest down payment possible, but I want to know an estimate on what my minimum down payment would be. My credit score through Experian in 638.

Do not shop at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet in Buford Ga! We tried to purchase a 2005 Avalanche from there, signed all of the paperwork, thinking we were financed, went home and found the truck on their website almost $2,000 cheaper. We told them to change the price they agreed, so we had to drive all the way back up there, one hour away to resign. When we left the ...

Would you consider keeping the cash in short term guaranteed accounts until you can time a good entrance for a long term buy/hold strategy? Buying the market at every level works ok with dollar cost averaging, but sticking a big chunk of your equity to work in the market while it's relatively overvalued doesn't seem like a great plan. Bond funds are not a good place either right now as these ...

I believe that a stable real estate market is a positive thing. All the renters need to do is save the down payment and they too can be owners. If one is not disciplined enough to save then one most likely should not own.
