Which do you prefer... Dorms with an assigned roommate or an apartment where you can choose who you live with? I'm debating whether I should do dorms or find an apartment off campus when I transfer. If you wear them to keep warm, or to just go to and from the shower... I always wear my slippers around just cuz they're so much comfier and warmer than any shoes I have. As for my robe, I wear it to stay warm, and if i'm in my pjs, i'll wear my robe all over my dorm complex, in the halls, to friends rooms, to the dining hall. How about you all?

Hey guys, I got sent a brochure by Miami and I've always been very interested in what Miami has to offer. However, in the picture of Hecht (maybe it was Stanford. I don't remember), it appeared that the room was carpeted. Are the freshman towers all carpeted or did they just put a rug or something in that room? Thanks in advance.
