I was wondering if anyone could tell me what Dorking and Newdigate are like? Is it a nice area, especially Newdigate since this is where could be spending the day/night. Any beautiful and interesting things to see that are walkable? My wife and I are visiting London in a couple of weeks, actually arriving on Dec 25. Two lads are stranded in Dorking with a broken down 73 Beetle. One of them is Tom Byrne who posts on these boards - remember some twat jumped on his bug a few weeks back? They need somwwhere to sleep for the night. They are literally stranded by the road side and have no way of getting back up to Liverpool. Been a while since I updated my build thread...and for good reason. You guys ever feel like you spend more time building/making shit to store/organize your crap than you do on actual projects? The past few weeks I've been making a welding table/grinding station/workbench thing. This allowed me to store my red toolbox more creatively, which freed up some space on my wall for the sandblaster....
