I have done cocaine weekly for the last two years. I am no longer using but am wondering if my brain will be able to return to its normal state or close to it one day, or if it will be forever changed. Did the amount of time that I used cocaine cause really bad damage to my brain or is two years of off and on use not so bad. Is there anyway...

I thought recreational drug induced nausea and vomiting was usually from stimulation of serotonin and dopamine receptors in the stomach?

that sounds odd falling asleep while on LSD. It stimulates dopamine receptors and norepinephrine receptors iirc. That means you're mildly stimulated. Although I suppose some people can fall asleep on mild stimulation (I definitely cannot). I imagine with pharmaceutical help you could surely enter a sleep whilst tripping (I bet the dreams would be interesting, also coming out of the sleep would...

^ yes I believe this has to do with its action on dopamine receptors. Also my dick will get smaller much like it does on amph. Question: Does anybody notice LSD is much more deep psychologically than other comparable tryptamines? I have really been blown away this week in terms of my psychology and realizing aspects about myself that I don't think a shorter-lasting tryptamine psychedelic (...

I think it's because if you use l-dopa you simply increase the amount of dopamine that's produced, but this doesn't necessarily mean it's released any more than without it and as such it's not flooding the receptors with dopamine at all like with stimulants.

2CD supposedly goes VERy well with MDMA. I don't know mirtazapine. What is its MOA? it has to do with dopamine right I think (parkinson's patients are prescribed it?)./ edit - sorry just saw, it works on presynaptic receptors to block their action that have net inhibition (normally without this drug blocking) on post synaptic receptors. So, the result is net excitation. Interesting. I have ...

^^^Ill keep that in mind. Still, I wonder how methamphetamine-like either can be, based on their selectivity for 5-HT2A receptors over dopamine and serotonin transporters.
