A rather elderly DDB needs to find a new home, as there isn't much room for him at my house and he's been shut in the bottom of the wardrobe since I moved here. Does anyone have one? I have a friend who has one (he is the biggest mush!) and I've never met one other then hers. My question to those is do they have a wavy/wiry strip down their back and down the tail? Looking at pictures seems like they don't. Just curious, thanks!

When I had my first DDB there were only an estimated 6-800 in the UK, I have owned dogs all my life including border collies, staffs and boxers and have also worked with rescue associations. Once you have a ddb you will never look toward another breed, they are a bit boisterous and a bit clumsy. If you had a dog that sat quiet in a corner all day you would have an animal that you couldn't trust...
