Hi guys , I always come across the verb to dither in political topics . Thus , I guess it's more common in the Formal English than the informal , Is it correct ? Do you use or hear this verb in the daily spoken English ?

Coming events in ten days or so: President Dither will be telling us that he is sending more troops but only to help the Afghan Army stand up so that we can withdraw over time. Apparently, the dithering is over. Honestly, I don't know what to think of his plans yet. I missed the speech and hope it will be on later. But, I guess if he is sending more troops then the answer is that we are staying here to "win" it.
