From my basic Chinese reading abilities, this is what I see on the bottle. But, isn't 75% Pure Ethanol and Distilled Water basically 150-proof moonshine ? I thought it smelled a lot like 151 when I opened the bottle.

So is distilled water in the jugs at the grocery store have fluoride in it? It shouldn't, right?? Is it best to ease into a fast - or just plow right in? After reading lots here and elsewhere, I decided on distilled water for my fast...

Hi all, here goes some noob questions. Got a Hornet 600 recently and realized the coolant level is very low, will top it up tomorrow but just for curiosity what damage it makes to ride the bike with low level of coolant? Now just to double check, I should put 50/50 of distilled water and anti-freeze, that's fine right? Since living in England I never had to look for distilled water, where ...

Dear MH, I have been drinking distilled water for about 3 years now. Over this time, my hair has become very thinned out and I am balding. I'm a 28 year old guy and can't believe this is happening. I used to have very thick hair. I already hated myself for many other reasons so this is really killing me inside. I came across an article stating hair loss could be related to long ...

This is a little more specific than the usual "where do I shop for groceries" question. We're about to spend a week at the Marriott Kauai Beach Club, followed by a week at the Marriott Maui Ocean Club. Both my wife and I use CPAPs. Are there grocery stores near our resorts where we can buy distilled water? Thanks, Mark

I got my distiller and love the tase of the water, I read this later on today and wondered if I should give this a go and will it do good or harm? I know Brown Rice is supposedly very good, will adding it to the water really do this? Are you concerned about the lack of minerals in distilled water? Don't be. 1) the "mineralized" waters contain forms of minerals that your body can't ...

I just got a heatmor 100 it's a few years old but I was the first to install it and fire it. With all the talk about mineral deposits and scale issues I want to know if filling with distilled water would solve the issue right off the bat, No guessing if it will be OK.

That's actually a very good question, with some very astute answers following it. RO would not be terrible, but distilled, mostly for reasons already given, is better. Just from a parts per million stand point, they can be close. Distilled water is uniformly between 5-15 PPM, while RO is more dependent on the source water and the membrane used in the system. It can range anywhere (typically...

It does take a lot of reading to understand even the basics of natural medicine. Lots and lots of study and reading. If one is to get themselves healthy again, they need to become acquainted with their own body, what condition it is in at the time, and know where to start helping it to get better. They need to know what they've been doing wrong in times past so they can correct their ...

I know some bikes - I think of the CX500 - like a silicate free coolant. In the CX's case the silicates take out the water pump seal with predictable results. I'm pretty sure not many bikes have this requirement, and in general I'm of the opinion that "coolant is coolant". In a tight spot plain water would do (don't try that in this weather mind ). However, recently when out at ...

I used filtered water for my BL who is now 8 months. Also you may want to research using distilled water, atleast for the little one as it is linked to causing mineral deficiencies. You can check out this link www.our-drinking-water.com or you can google it.

It is easier to strip out oxygen if the water is ambient or even warm than when it is cold. This is a simple matter of gas solubility - oxygen being far more soluble at low temperatures than high. Because of this I wouldn't like to even suggest a figure for gas stripping as so much depends on the conditions, temperature, surface area etc. However, to give some sort of indication of the ...

Quote: Per pint: 2/3 volume of 99% Isopropyl alcohol and 1/3 distilled water (or substitute 70% isopropyl rubbing alcohol) with 3 drops Amway L.O.C. (or substitue a good dishwash detergent), add to this a pinch of rock salt (ground fine to dissolve in the mixture quickly). I've not tried this exact recipe, but I was caught in a pinch one time and used a bottle ...

To be far there is a search function on this forum and just doing a fast search i found MH talking about this same subject. And one must remember things such as tone do not carry over on to internet forums. One person will read one post and think it is very negative and pissed off and another will read the same post and think it is kind and helpful.

Could the radiator be clogged with hard water deposits which could partially block flow to the lower section? The use of tap water instead of distilled water can clog a cooling system over time. This would be at least partially confirmed if the engine temp runs hotter than its typical 210 degrees. I often do the final fill via the top hose to try to get rid of the bubbles which is a good way ...
